Customers Advised About Wastewater Overflow Near 4760 Raytown Road

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 4760 Raytown Road on Tuesday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m. The overflow was the result of heavy flow in the Round Grove Creek which damaged the manhole. The overflow ended at 10:20 p.m. the same day and resulted in an overflow of 37,500 gallons. The overflow reached Round Grove Creek. Repair crews implemented bypass pumping which will remain in place until repairs are complete. Warning signs are posted in the affected area.
