Customers Advised About Wastewater Overflow Near 2301 Topping Avenue

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 2301 Topping Ave. on Friday, August 18that 9:00 a.m. The overflow was the result of a leaking joint on a 102” sewer main. The overflow ended at 6:30 p.m. the same day and resulted in an overflow of 570 gallons, some of which reached state waters.

Repair crews made needed repairs to the joint and warning signs were posted along the affected area.
