KC Water Reminds Customers That Employees Will Always Wear Identification

Posted on December 14, 2016

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water works hard to build and maintain the trust of the Kansas City community. The improvements being made to the infrastructure of Kansas City often involve work on private property.

KC Water workers make sure their identification is clear to customers. They always carry their KC Water identification badge. Depending on the type of work being done, they’ll wear either neon orange or neon yellow shirts with reflectors and the KC Water logo. Also, KC Water trucks have a KC Water or City logo and a City license plate.

If a customer has concerns, they are encouraged to call 816.513.1313 or 311 to verify the work before letting anyone inside their home.

For more information, please contact Brooke Givens, Media Relations Coordinator, at brooke.givens@kcmo.org or 816.513.0284.
